What a week for the Dallas Stars

Dallas started the week with a 2-0 lead on San Jose, and ended the week with a 4-2 series win in San Jose. After looking dominant in games 1-3 at times, San Jose pulled themselves back into the series by winning games 4 and 5.

Game 6 though ended 2-1 in Dallas’ favor, but it wasn’t the normal 3 period affair. After 3 periods Dallas and San Jose were deadlocked in a 1-1 tie. The game was filled with excellent goaltending, hard hitting, and chances at each end. Marty Turco and Evgeny Nabokov made some of the best saves anyone has ever seen. Brenden Morrow, after registering 19 hits in the game, ended the game on the powerplay from Robidas and Zubov from a great pass.

The Stars now prepare for the Detroit Red Wings who have owned them for the last 10 years. The series starts on Thursday in Detroit, and it looks to be a great Conference Finals.
