I have been hearing that there may be more to Marian Gaborik sitting out of lastnight's game. It is being reported that Gaborik has also become a distraction in the Wild dressing room. I have also heard from a couple sources that the Canucks brought in Pavol Demitra in the offseason for a possible deal to get Gaborik. Gaborik and Demitra are best friends and this would be a perfect fit. From what I've been hearing the only thing holding the deal back is the fact that the Canucks and the Wild play in the same divison and the Wild don't want to have a happy Gaborik light them up for 10 goals a year. The Canucks also have a lot of cap room and could also offer him a deal that even Gaborik would be pleased with.
