Gaborik to undergo hip surgery

Minnesota Wild star Marian Gaborik will have surgery on his injured left hip.

The Wild said on Friday that Gaborik is scheduled to have surgery on Monday and is expected to be sidelined about 10 weeks.

The team called Gaborik’s injury a “deficiency” in his hip that has caused his chronic left groin pain.
