Based on the rumors, CuJo has numerous options

SpectorsHockey.net reported numerous rumors as to the landing spot for free agent goalie Curtis Joseph.

The website reported Joseph won’t be signing with the San Jose Sharks. The team did have talks with Joseph’s agent but once Dimitri Patzold successfully cleared waivers and they called up Thomas Greiss those talks ended.

The website reported the Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Rangers have now gotten into the bidding for Joseph. The Leafs bid may be due to concern over Vesa Toskala’s health or the possibility of trading Andrew Raycroft thus freeing up space for “CuJo”.

The website reported Calgary Flames backup goalie Curtis McElhinney will be the odd man out in the team’s goalie rotation if they sign Joseph as rumoured. Joseph won’t be a threat to replace Miikka Kiprusoff as the club’s starter but having Joseph there might help push Kiprusoff.
