Forsberg will play tonight
Peter Forsberg will play for the Avalanche tonight against the Vancouver Canucks.
Forsberg made the announcement this morning after the Avs’ skate at the Pepsi Center. His decision comes less than 24 hours after practicing for the first time with the full Colorado squad.
“Yep, I’m going to play,” Forsberg said. “I felt good out there. I’m just asking for everybody’s patience. It might be a little tough in the beginning, but I might as well get back to playing right away. I’m excited for tonight.”
