He shrugged resignedly.

“I’m used to it here. It’s my fourth year. There’s nothing wrong between me and Cujo. Cujo’s a great guy. I really like him.”

The idea of a goaltending controversy — Kipper vs. Cujo, duelling goalsticks, Star Wars light-sabre style at 10 paces — had set a few jaws a-flappin’ after Kiprusoff, fighting the lingering affects of a flu/cold, was yanked after a hardscrabble period in Anaheim on Friday and then rested the entire 60 minutes the next night in Phoenix.
