Jordan Staal to be the youngest player to play in 200 games
via USA Today:
Jordan Staal of the Pittsburgh Penguins will become the youngest player in NHL history to play in 200 games if he takes the ice Tuesday night against Boston.
Staal will be 20 years, 111 days old on Tuesday, or four days younger than Patrick Marleau of the San Jose Sharks was when he played in his 200th game in 1999-2000, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
Staal, the No. 2 pick in the June 2006 draft, has missed only one game in three seasons with Pittsburgh.
In 199 career games, Staal has 52 goals and 39 assists for 91 points. He also has played in 25 NHL playoff games.
